Multiple Affinity Removal System Spin Cartridges

The system contains several individual purchasable components (cartridges, buffers, and consumables) that are defined based on sample source and other factors. Components are purchased as separate items.

  1. Reusable Spin Cartridges - Polypropylene spin cartridge body containing affinity resin materials that are compatible with standard benchtop microcentrifuge equipment. Cartrides include Human 14, Human 7, Human 6, and Mouse 3
  2. Optimized Buffers - Two proprietary buffers that are used with the spin cartridges – Buffer A for loading, equilibrating, and washing the cartridge, and Buffer B for eluting the retained highly abundant proteins
  3. Spin Filters and Concentrators - 0.22 µm Spin Filters for sample cleanup before depletion and spin concentrators for concentrating the collected low-abundant proteins in the flow-through fractions obtained with the cartridges. Agilent's mRP-C18 column is a new alternative to fractionating, concentrating, and desalting immunodepleted serum
  4. Luer-lock Syringes - Plastic Luer-lock Syringes for pushing buffers through Multiple Affinity Removal Spin Cartridges
  5. Luer-lock Needles - teflon Luer-lock Needles and high sample compatibility, for transferring proteomics samples, buffers, and reagents
  6. Luer-lock adapters - Luer-lock Adapters for spin cartridges, allow you to attach Luer-lock syringes to spin cartridges for manual processing
  7. Screwtop Microtubes tubes - 1.5mL Screwtop Microtubes (Eppendorf-style tubes) used to collect the samples that flow through the Multiple Affinity Removal Spin Cartridges
  8. Cartridge Caps & Plugs - Spin Cartridge Caps and Plugs for when you need to replace caps and plugs on the affinity spin cartridge
