Agilent now treats each premium 11mm inlet septa to eliminate sticking in the GC inlet. With our premium non-stick septa, you'll never have to scrape bits of septum out of your inlet. Agilent's premium septa also have a recess on the injection side, to guide the syringe needle to the same point with every injection. Other suppliers coat their septa with powder to prevent sticking. However, this coating can accumulate inside split vent lines and interfere with the analysis of active analytes. But Agilent's new non-stick septa are plasma coated, which eliminates chemical bleed and contamination from foreign substances. So your instruments will maintain their integrity, stay cleaner, and require less maintenance.
