To ensure leak-free connections – and to prevent the loss of peak shape and resolution –
always use the manufacturer’s recommended fitting style with columns, valves, and unions.
For example:
- Different columns have different fitting requirements. (Zorbax columns use standard
Swagelok fittings).
- Agilent 1100 modules use standard Swagelok fittings.
- Rheodyne injection valves require Rheodyne fittings.
