mRP-C18 High-Recovery Protein Column

Separate complex mixtures

The mRP-C18 High-Recovery Protein Column is an LC column designed for sample desalting, followed by chromatographic separation or fractionation of the complex protein samples (like immunodepleted serum or plasma proteins) with extremely high recovery of sample when compared to conventional RP HPLC columns.

  • Greater than 95-99% protein sample recovery have been observed with immunodepleted serum using the Agilent Multiple Affinity Removal System - LC Column.
  • Can load up to 380 µg of total protein mass without reducing chromatographic resolution of the proteins.
  • Four column dimensions include 0.5 x 100 mm, 2.1 x 75 mm, 4.6 x 50 mm, and 9.4 x 50 mm with PEEK (polyetheretherketone) end-fittings and 2 µm PEEK-encapsulated titanium frits.
  • Column packed with macroporous C18-bonded ultrapure 5 µm particle silica designed to reduce or eliminate strong adsorption of proteins.
  • Maximum operating pressure of 250 bar (4000 psi).
  • Compatible with water and all common organic solvents.
  • Simple mobile phases and gradient and use of standard HPLC equipment make protein fractionation or desalting easy and reproducible.
