Solvent Saver (3.0 mm ID) columns are an excellent choice for reducing solvent use by 40% or more compared to 4.6 mm ID columns. These solvent savings mean less initial expense in solvent, lower solvent disposal costs and longer unattended operation of the LC – crucial for night and weekend operation. Solvent Saver columns are available in all ZORBAX phases so your current method can be immediately adjusted for substantial savings. A change in column flow rate is all that is required. No special LC modifications are needed to use these columns.
