CP-Wax™ Columns

The CP-Wax lines of chemically bonded columns offer a broad range of selectivities for method optimization. Varian offers 3 different phases in the CP-Wax line. The backbone of this series stationary phases is made of a polyethylene glycol. By using different functional groups, the selectivity of the polyethylene glycol is optimized. The CP-Wax series of stationary phases have a CP-Index of 52-58 and are therefore relatively polar.

EZ-GRIP™
All capillary columns from Varian are standard outfitted with
EZ-GRIP™ for enhanced ease-of-use. Varian’s EZ-GRIP™ capillary column cage makes installation, coupling and operation of capillary columns user-friendly, less time consuming and also improve reliability for the method.

Guaranteed Quality
Varian GC columns are manufactured under close supervision and to exact specifications. A final quality assurance test ensures that every GC column shipped meets our tight specifications, published in the test report supplied with each GC column.
