Increasingly, we are being encouraged to move away from manual peak integration and use software to perform batch integration of sequences. This can initially seem inflexible and a less able to deal with chromatograms containing a mixture of small and large peaks.

However, armed with a good knowledge of your software’s integration algorithms, it’s often possible to have the software quickly integrate large numbers of samples in a way that is correct, recoverable and consistent between operators.

Using real chromatograms, this short video introduces a generic approach to setting up for batch integration which should be applicable to most software platforms.
