Agilent CP-Cyclodextrin GC Columns

Agilent J&W CP-Cyclodextrin-β-2,3,6-M-19 separates many optical isomers that were once immune to analysis. Due to its selectivity, o-, m- and p-xylenes can now be separated. The column is also useful for non-chiral compounds. CP-Cyclodextrin-β-2,3,6-M-19 has a very high inertness, enabling separation of underivatized polar compounds.

  • Unique selectivity for optical and positional isomer separations
  • High efficiency enables wide range of applications
  • Separates o-,m-, and p-xylenes
  • Excellent peak shape for underivatised polar compounds

A 7 inch cage is the most common GC column format, compatible with Agilent 5890, 6890, 7820, 7890, 8860, and 8890 series GC systems, and all non-Agilent GC systems with a similarly sized oven. The 5 inch cage format is designed for smaller GC ovens e.g. for the Agilent GC 6850.
