Agilent HP-PLOT Molsieve GC Columns
Agilent offers two series of molecular sieve PLOT columns in 0.53mm and 0.32mm ID. For applications requiring resolution of argon and oxygen without expensive cryogenic cooling, select thick-film HP-PLOT Molesieve 5Å columns. The thin-film configurations are ideal for many applications, including routine air monitoring and analysis in less than 10 seconds. The thin-film column resolves argon and oxygen at sub-ambient temperatures.

Molecular sieve columns will absorb water, which, over time results in changes in retention time. We use an advanced, proprietary deactivation process which allows for rapid regeneration. Fully saturated HP-PLOT Molesieve columns regenerate in 7 hours or less at 200°C.

A 7 inch cage is the most common GC column format, compatible with Agilent 5890, 6890, 7820, 7890, 8860, and 8890 series GC systems, and all non-Agilent GC systems with a similarly sized oven. The 5 inch cage format is designed for smaller GC ovens e.g. for the Agilent GC 6850.
