Avantor® Hichrom Anion Exclusion
All pictures shown are for illustration purpose only. Actual product may vary.
The Avantor® Hichrom Anion Exclusion range is meticulously crafted for the efficient separation of organic acids and weakly ionized anions, utilising a highly sulphonated polystyrene-divinylbenzene cation-exchange resin. This range is particularly designed with a 10 μm particle size, ideal for anion exclusion mechanisms. The columns are engineered to operate effectively with dilute mineral acids as typical mobile phases, and the incorporation of acetonitrile (up to 10%) as an organic modifier can be employed to reduce the retention times of hydrophobic compounds, enhancing the versatility of the columns in various separation contexts.
Features
- Selective Separation: Specifically designed for the targeted separation of organic acids and weakly ionised anions, ensuring high specificity and efficiency.
- Polymer-based Stability: The polymer-based matrix provides broad pH stability, making the columns adaptable to various analytical conditions.
- Compatibility: The columns are compatible with typical mobile phases used in anion exclusion chromatography, offering flexibility in method development.
- Reduced Hydrophobic Compound Retention: The optional use of acetonitrile as an organic modifier aids in decreasing the retention of hydrophobic compounds, facilitating smoother separations.
