Agilent FilterMate

Agilent FilterMate provides an efficient way to filter samples prior to analysis with any of the atomic spectroscopy techniques. Digested sludge, wastewater, and soil samples will typically have large particulates and suspended solids that can induce nebulizer or injector blockage if aspirated directly. Filtration prior to analysis is recommended and benefits include improved accuracy, optimal instrument performance, better long-term stability, and reduced system downtime.

FilterMate ensures efficient removal of particulates and suspended solids from sample digests. Push the filter through the sample, remove the detachable plunger and leave the filter in place. The same tube can be used for analysis by sampling above the filter, eliminating sample transfers.
