- Provides a total seal around the entire circumference of the vial crown
- No requirement for crimping or de-capping tools
- Chemically inert polyethylene caps are suitable for most chromatography applications
- Pre-slit septa are the best option for the easiest penetration and will reduce the likelihood of coring
