Agilent Select Mineral Oil GC Columns

Agilent J&W Select Mineral Oil provides a simple and reliable option for total petroleum hydrocarbon analysis, a routine technique in many environmental laboratories, where there are often many samples needing to be screened. The column features a stabilised non-polar bonded phase specifically for fast mineral oil analysis, is temperature stable up to 390/400°C, and provides rapid analysis according to DIN H53 and DIN-EN-ISO 9377-2 methods.

Due to the temperature stability of this column, C4 – C40 hydrocarbons can be analysed in less than ten minutes, and the high temperature stability permits faster bake out. For optimal injection performance, use with the special 4m retention gap (part number CP8015).

A 7 inch cage is the most common GC column format, compatible with Agilent 5890, 6890, 7820, 7890, 8860, and 8890 series GC systems, and all non-Agilent GC systems with a similarly sized oven. The 5 inch cage format is designed for smaller GC ovens e.g. for the Agilent GC 6850.

Select Mineral Oil Intuvo GC Columns with Smart Key are also available, which are specifically designed for use with the Intuvo 9000 GC instrument.
