Thermo Scientific GlycanPac Columns
GlycanPac Biochromatography Columns from Thermo Scientific
GlycanPac AXH-1 - high resolution columns for neutral and charged glycan analysis
Thermo Scientific GlycanPac AXH-1 is a high-performance, silica-based HPLC column for simultaneous separation of glycans by charge, size and polarity. It is designed for high-resolution and high-throughput analysis of biologically important glycans, either labeled or native, by LC-fluorescence and LC-MS methods.
GlycanPac AXR-1 - ultra-high resolution columns for neutral, charged and glycan isomer analysis
The GlycanPac AXR-1 column, based on high-purity and spherical silica substrates, combines both weak anion-exchange (WAX) and reversed-phase (RP) retention mechanisms for optimal selectivity and ultra high resolution for glycan separation. The WAX functionality separates glycans based on charge, and RP property facilitates high resolution for glycans of the same charge according to their hydrophobicity, branching and isomerization. As a result, the GlycanPac AXR-1 column provides unparalleled resolutions for complex charged glycans.
Thermo Scientific GlycanPac columns are designed for analysing proteins with charged glycans. Available in two mixed mode column chemistries combining anion exchange with HILIC or RP separations. GlycanPac AXH-1 separates the glycan profile by charge, size, and hydrophilicity, and GlycanPac AXR-1 separates the profile by charge, size, and branch isomers.
GlycanPac AXH-1 columns combine both weak anion exchange (WAX) and HILIC retention mechanisms for optimal selectivity and high resolving power. The WAX functionality provides retention and selectivity for negatively charged glycans, while the HILIC mode facilitates the separation of glycans of the same charge according to their polarity and size. GlycanPac AXH-1 is designed for neutral and charged glycans analysis, in their native or labelled form.
GlycanPac AXR-1 columns are based on novel mixed-mode column chemistry, combining the retention mechanisms of both WAX and reversed phase properties for optimal selectivity and resolution. The WAX functionality provides retention and selectivity for negatively charged glycans, while the reversed phase mode facilitates the separation of glycans of the same charge according to their isomeric structure, and size. As a result, the GlycanPac AXR-1 column provides the highest resolution of charged 2AB-labelled N-linked glycans.
