The range typically includes 10 mL and 20 mL headspace vials in clear or amber glass, with crimp top and screw top formats available to suit different instrument platforms. Flat bottom and round bottom vial styles are available to support varying autosampler requirements.

Built to withstand the elevated temperatures and internal pressures associated with headspace GC and GC-MS analysis, headspace vials are paired with compatible caps and septa to create a secure, consistent seal. Common closure options include 20 mm crimp caps and 18 mm screw caps, with cap materials such as aluminium, bimetal and steel available alongside a choice of septa materials for different applications and temperature conditions.
