HALO® Phenyl-Hexyl HPLC Columns from Advanced Materials Technology
All pictures shown are for illustration purpose only. Actual product may vary.
HALO® Phenyl-Hexyl HPLC columns from Advanced Materials Technology contain a bonded, endcapped, dimethylphenylhexyl stationary phase for enhanced retention of compounds that contain aromatic groups. The phenyl-hexyl phase provides a stable, reversed phase packing with enhanced π-π and mild steric interactions due to the relatively long chain hexyl linkage to the base silica. The columns are manufactured with Fused-Core® particle technology in three particle sizes; 2 µm for ultimate performance UHPLC methods, 2.7 µm for UHPLC like performance at lower backpressures, and 5 µm for improved HPLC methods.
Features
- Ideal for separating aromatic compounds using pi-pi interactions
- Alternate selectivity to alkyl phases
- USP classification of L11
- Available particle sizes are 2 µm, 2.7 µm, and 5 µm for both UHPLC and HPLC instrumentation
- Typical applications include penicillins, anti-coagulants, and fluoroquinolone drugs
