Agilent Caps for PFAS Testing
All pictures shown are for illustration purpose only. Actual product may vary.
Agilent PFAS-optimised caps are specifically developed to deliver secure, contamination-free sealing for high-sensitivity PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) analysis. By minimising background interference from perfluorinated compounds (PFCs) within the LC–MS workflow, they support the low detection limits required across environmental, food and industrial testing. Designed to pair seamlessly with corresponding Agilent PFAS vials, these caps are available in both screw and snap formats, offering flexibility without compromising analytical performance.
The 9 mm screw caps feature an advanced polypropylene/silicone bi-layer septum, desinged to maintain seal integrity and limit sample loss – even during repeated injections. This is particularly important for PFAS methods where large gauge LC needles can puncture conventional septa and introduce contamination or evaporation. For applications where resealability is not required, 11 mm snap caps are available in solid polyethylene membrane or moulded polyethylene olefin designs, offering a practical and cost-effective solution. The snap cap design enables easier handling during sample preparation, particularly when pipetting.
Fully compliant with EPA 537.1, EPA 533, EPA 8327 and ISO 21675, and compatible with Agilent and most third-party autosamplers, these caps integrate seamlessly into the wider Agilent PFAS workflow – supporting accurate, reproducible and efficient PFAS analysis.
