Agilent Poroshell SB-C18 HPLC columns are manufactured using bulky side-chains that sterically protect the siloxane bond. This results in a vastly improved column life and excellent chemical and temperature stability at pH 1 – 8. Surface silanol groups provide alternative selectivity to the endcapped Poroshell EC-C18. Available with 1.9 µm, 2.7 µm and 4 µm superficially porous particles for fast, high-resolution separations.
