Agilent Poroshell SB-C18 HPLC columns are manufactured using bulky silanes that sterically protect the siloxane bond instead of acid labile endcapping reagents. This results in a vastly improved column life and excellent chemical and temperature stability at pH 1 – 6. A lack of endcapping provides a different selectivity to the endcapped Poroshell EC-C18. Available with superficially porous particles in either 1.9 µm, 2.7 µm, or 4 µm, for fast, high-resolution separations.
