Zetarose Tag Affinity Bulk Resin from emp BIOTECH

Zetarose Tag Affinity bulk resin from emp BIOTECH is a robust affinity chromatography resin designed for the purification of polyhistidine-tagged proteins using immobilised-metal affinity chromatography (IMAC). The highly cross-linked 6% agarose matrix is derivatised with nitrilotriacetic acid (NTA), which, when charged with bivalent metal ions, selectively binds His-tagged proteins through their affinity to the metal ion coordination sphere. Proteins bound to the resin can be eluted under native or denaturing conditions using low pH buffers or buffers containing imidazole or histidine. The choice of metal cation can be tailored to specific applications to optimise binding affinity and specificity for the target His-tagged proteins. Zetarose NTA FF6 offers repeated purification cycles, providing a cost-effective solution for high-end affinity separations.
