ZetaSep and ZetaPrep FPLC Desalting Columns from emp BIOTECH are designed for desalting, buffer exchange and removal of low molecular weight contaminants using liquid chromatography systems. Packed with Zetadex-25, a chemically stable size exclusion matrix with an approximate 5 kDa molecular weight cut-off, the columns gently separate proteins, oligonucleotides, spheroidal nanoparticles and other larger biomolecules from salts, dyes, metal cations, urea, inhibitors, biotin, haptens and other small impurities.
ZetaSep columns provide a simple, rapid and reproducible format for routine post-purification desalting and buffer exchange, with options for 200 µL and 1 mL sample volumes. ZetaPrep pre-packed chromatography columns extend this capability into a larger, scalable format, with precision-engineered packing, validated pressure-flow behaviour and stable gel bed performance to support reliable purification across research, development and production workflows.
