YMC BioPro IEX Resin

BioPro IEX resins are ion exchange chromatography media designed for the analysis and purification of a broad range of biomolecules, including proteins, antibodies, peptides and oligonucleotides. Available as strong anion (Q) and strong cation (S) exchangers, the range supports multiple stages of downstream processing, from initial capture through to intermediate purification and final polishing. High dynamic binding capacity, particularly in larger particle size variants, enables efficient target capture with high loadability, while smaller particle sizes are suited to later stages where enhanced resolution is required.

The BioPro IEX and BioPro IEX SmartSep ranges are designed to provide consistent chromatographic performance across particle sizes, supporting straightforward scale-up without changes in separation behaviour. Their pressure–flow characteristics allow operation at elevated flow rates with low backpressure, while maintaining separation efficiency. Compatibility with alkaline cleaning-in-place (CIP) protocols enables effective removal of contaminants, contributing to process robustness, operational safety and extended resin lifetime across repeated use.
