Agilent IDP-10 Oil Free Vacuum Pump
All pictures shown are for illustration purpose only. Actual product may vary.
The Agilent IDP-10 oil-free scroll pump is designed to deliver high-capacity vacuum for demanding GC-MS applications, including triple quadrupole systems. Operating on an orbital dual-scroll compression principle, gas is drawn in at the pump perimeter and progressively compressed towards the central exhaust, enabling efficient pump-down and high gas throughput. Its low base pressure supports effective turbo molecular pump performance, helping to maintain stable analytical conditions during sustained or high-load operation.
Delivering a pumping speed of 170 L/min (10.2 m³/h), the IDP-10 is suited to instruments such as the Agilent 7000 and 7010 Series triple quadrupole GC-MS systems. Its oil-free design reduces environmental impact and laboratory safety considerations associated with oil-sealed pumps, while the sealed motor arrangement helps prevent catastrophic failure modes related to contamination. The unit’s reduced utility requirements, low acoustic output, and minimal vibration allow flexible placement within laboratory layouts without the need for specialised electrical supply.
Features
