Gilson Orbital Shaker

The Gilson Orbital Shaker is a compact, stand-alone mixing solution designed for both on-line and off-line liquid handling, vortexing and sample mixing applications. Developed to integrate seamlessly with automated workflows, the shaker occupies a single rack position on a GX-281 Liquid Handler bed while also functioning independently when required. User-controlled shaking speeds from 20 to 720 rpm allow effective mixing across a wide range of vessel sizes and sample volumes, with vortexing capability dependent on application conditions. Compatibility with all Code 200-series racks ensures flexible sample handling, with racks secured via set screws and accurately positioned using locator pins for repeatable operation.
