Gilson GX-281

The Gilson GX-281 Liquid Handler is a versatile, large-capacity X/Y/Z automation platform designed to support liquid handling, injection, and fraction collection workflows in analytical and preparative laboratories. Commonly used within semi-preparative or preparative HPLC purification systems, the GX-281 enables automated injection, fraction collection, and re-injection processes while maintaining precise and reproducible liquid transfer. Its spacious, configurable deck allows integration of multiple racks, modules, and accessories, providing flexibility for a range of sample preparation and purification tasks.

The system can be configured with integrated solvent delivery through the GX Solvent System, which operates as a bi-directional pump capable of switching between aspiration and dispensing modes. Depending on the configuration, analytical solvent delivery up to 5 mL/min or preparative solvent delivery up to 50 mL/min is supported, with the ability to connect up to five solvent reservoirs. Optional accessories such as the GX Z Injection Module, GX Direct Injection Module, rinse pump, and fraction collection valve allow laboratories to tailor the system for specific analytical, purification, or automated liquid handling applications.
