Porvair Ultraseal™ LITE
The Ultraseal™ LITE from Porvair Sciences is a compact, fully electric heat sealer designed for low- to medium-throughput laboratories. Lightweight and easy to operate, it requires no gas supply and uses pre-cut sheets of surface-modified aluminium or plastic film (approximately 78 mm × 128 mm) to create secure, reproducible seals. Its intuitive “slide and seal” design ensures quick operation, with plates automatically ejected after sealing for immediate use in storage, transport, or other downstream applications.
Accommodating plate heights from 9 mm to 48 mm without the need for spacers, the Ultraseal™ LITE combines versatility with precision. Sealing parameters, including temperature (up to 200°C) and time, are easily controlled via the touch screen, allowing optimisation for a wide range of films and foils. Consistent application of heat and pressure guarantees a reliable seal every time, making the Ultraseal™ LITE a practical, user-friendly solution for laboratories seeking dependable sealing performance in a bench-friendly format.
