Gilson GX-271
The Gilson GX-271 Liquid Handler is a compact, mid-throughput automation platform designed for liquid handling, autosampling, and fraction collection in analytical and preparative laboratory workflows. Built on an X/Y/Z robotic design, the system supports a wide range of liquid transfer tasks, including small- to large-volume injections, sample preparation, and reagent handling. An optional dynamic syringeless pumping system enables dispensing from microlitre volumes to hundreds of millilitres without requiring hardware changes, providing flexibility across different applications.
Despite its small footprint the GX-271 offers considerable capacity through its modular deck layout, which accommodates a range of rack formats and sample vessels. The system can be integrated with accessories such as the GX Direct Injection Module for HPLC or LC/MS workflows, along with solvent systems, syringe pumps, and rinse stations to support a variety of automated processes. Controlled through TRILUTION software, the platform allows laboratories to manage batch or sequential sample processing while maintaining consistent and precise liquid handling performance.
