Agilent Pursuit XRs C8 HPLC Columns
Agilent Pursuit XRs C8 HPLC columns have a 100 Å pore size combined with high surface area and high carbon load for maximum loadability and easy scalability. The C8 phase maintains excellent resolution while providing lower hydrophobic retention compared to the Pursuit XRs C18. The Pursuit XRS C8 columns are available with fully porous particles in 3 µm and 5 µm sizes for HPLC methods.
Pursuit XRS Ultra columns with an optimised 2.8 µm particle provide the ultimate in speed and resolution. Lower backpressures allow high flow rates to be used on any instrument type, and the 2.8 µm particle delivers 10 – 15% higher efficiency than the 3 µm columns.
- General C8 stationary phase recommended for lower hydrophobic retention compared to Pursuit XRs C18
- Pursuit XRs columns offer larger surface area (440 m2/g) and smaller pore size (100 Å) in complementary phases to the Pursuit family
- Manufactured with ultra-pure fully porous silica
- 3 µm and 5 µm packed in standard stainless steel hardware with 400 bar pressure rating
- Ultra columns offer stability to 600 bar due to special hardware and loading
- L7 USP classification
- MetaGuard connects directly to the analytical column without requiring an additional holder
- Pursuit XRs phases available as part of the Agilent InfinityLab preparative column range
- Pursuit XRs range also features Pursuit XRs C18, Pursuit XRs Dipenyl, and Pursuit XRs Si for alternative selectivity
