Avantor® ACE® UltraCore SuperC18 HPLC Columns
Avantor® ACE® UltraCore SuperC18 solid core HPLC columns combine high efficiency separations with low column back pressure. The solid core particles provide UHPLC-like performance using HPLC instrumentation.The columns are manufactured with Encapsulated Bonding Technology (EBT) which greatly increases the ligand coverage of the silica surface and effectively eliminates the effect of unbonded silanol groups on separations. This higher ligand coverage results in improved inertness, chromatographic performance, and stability. Avantor® ACE® UltraCore SuperC18 columns are ideal for demanding MS work offering improved MS signal intensity and maximum MS response.

- 2.5 µm solid-core particles give comparable efficiencies to sub 2 µm fully porous particles with the advantage of lower back pressure
- 5 µm solid-core particles which can be used to replace 5 µm fully porous particles of the same chemistry to significantly increase separation speed and throughput
- HPLC/UHPLC hardware format with 1,000 bar / 15,000 psi pressure limit
- ACE guard cartridges for analytical columns require stand-alone guard cartridge holder H0001 and column coupler C0001
- ACE UHPLC guard cartridges require holder H0011
- Avantor® ACE® UltraCore is also available with SuperPhenylHexyl bonded phase with complementary selectivity for method development over a wide pH range
