Environmental Analysis (Dioxins, Furans, PAHs, PCBs)

Services relating to environmental analysis are driven by a variety of factors — to obtain accreditation from national and international standards; the retention of leading technology and experts; continuous improvement; and meeting deadlines.

Element and our partners, Hall Analytical, are here to help you meet these objectives through a variety of matrices.

Dioxins and Furans

Waste incineration, chemical manufacturing, and paper bleaching are large producers of dioxins and furans. Contamination can be found in the air, in water, and in soil — where it poses a serious threat to human health.

We can utilise high-res mass spectrometry to quantify dioxins and furans in your samples. Using state-of-the-art equipment and cutting edge techniques, our expert staff can detect these contaminants to the lowest level of detail and ensure safety in your operations.

Stationary Source Emissions

We offer UKAS accredited dioxin analysis to the BS/EN 1948 protocol. Producing stack measurements from hazardous waste incinerators and USEPA Method 23, we ensure you are above board with stationary source emissions.

Other Matrices

We analyse materials for potential environmental issues to USEPA 1613 standards. We do this using our state-of-the-art instrumentation and sample prep facilities, with methodologies  optimised to ensure the highest quality of data, swift turnarounds and competitive pricing.
