Agilent CP-Chirasil-Dex GC Columns
Agilent J&W CP-Chirasil-Dex CB consists of cyclodextrin directly bonded to dimethylpolysiloxane. This bond prevents the cyclodextrin from migrating to different locations in the surface film, delivering homogeneous enantioselectivity throughout the phase, which provides the highest resolution factor between isomers. It also guarantees stability of enantioselectivity. As a result, the lifetime of β-cyclodextrin capillary columns is significantly improved. CP-Chirasil-Dex CB permits low elution temperatures of polar compounds and is suitable for all injection techniques.
- Cyclodextrin bonded to dimethylpolysiloxane for homogeneous enantioselectivity throughout the column
- High resolution factor between isomers across a broad application range
- Chemically-bonded phase for excellent longevity
- No need for derivatisation improves productivity
- Low elution temperature of polar compounds
- Suitable for all injection techniques

A 7 inch cage is the most common GC column format, compatible with Agilent 5890, 6890, 7820, 7890, 8860, and 8890 series GC systems, and all non-Agilent GC systems with a similarly sized oven. The 5 inch cage format is designed for smaller GC ovens e.g. for the Agilent GC 6850.
