SiELC Cannsep A HPLC Columns
SiELC Cannsep A columns belong to the Cannsep family of specially developed reversed phase columns designed to retain and separate most of the compounds responsible for cannabis’s physiological properties. Cannsep A is a reversed phase HPLC column with embedded strong acidic ion-pairing groups. The stationary phase retains neutral cannabinoids through a reversed phase mechanism. Acidic cannabinoids, such as Tetrahydrocannabinolic acid (THCA) and Cannabidiolic acid (CBDA), will be subject to ion-exclusion interactions with the negatively charged stationary phase of Cannsep A.
- Application specific column for cannabis analysis
- Reversed phase with strong acidic ion-pairing groups
- Mobile phases can be selected for compatibility with low UV detection, using phosphoric or sulfuric acid as modifiers
- For LC-MS and preparative chromatography compatible mobile phases can be used with formic acid as a modifier
- Cannsep range also includes Cannsep B and Cannsep C for orthogonal selectivity
