Columns packed with the immobilized protein stationary phases (PSPs) are successfully utilized by scientists for separation and characterization of chiral compounds in a great number of applications, ranging from drug discovery and quality assurance of marketed drugs to environmental monitoring.
Our protein-based chiral selectors are immobilized on 5 µm spherical silica particles. The PSPs function entirely in the reversed-phase chromatographic mode, using buffers with low organic modifier content and at moderate pH values. Enantioselectivity can easily be controlled or improved by changes in the mobile phase composition: pH, buffer and organic modifier types and concentrations.
All PSP selectors are packed in columns with 2, 3, 4 and 10 mm internal diameter to cover separations on both analytical and semi-preparative scales.

The Daicel CHIRALPAK AGP selector has extremely broad applicability for the separation of a wide variety of chiral compounds, such as amines, acids, and nonprolytes. The enantioselectivity of the Daicel CHIRALPAK CBH selector is complementary to that of the AGP selector.

CHIRALPAK AGP has very broad applicability and is suitable for enantiomer resolution of all types of compounds, including amines (primary, secondary, tertiary, and quaternary ammonium compounds), strong and weak acids, and non-ionisable compounds.
CHIRALPAK HSA offers high enantioselectivity for compounds bearing carboxylic groups, including, strong and weak acids, zwitterionic molecules, and non-ionisable compounds.
CHIRALPAK CBH can offer high enantioselectivity for basic compounds, including primary and secondary amines, and non-ionisable compounds.
