Agilent Aqueous SEC Columns for Light Scattering Detection
Agilent offers aqueous SEC columns that are pre-equilibrated for polymer separations using light scattering detectors. The columns provide low noise levels and very good signal-to-noise ratio (< 0.1 V) out of the box. Optimised for light scattering detection, these columns reach the steady state mode more than 20 times faster than traditional columns, and their overall noise reduction is more than 25 times better.
The aqueous SEC columns for light scattering detectors includes the following ranges:
- NOVEMA Max Lux for the analysis of cationic synthetic polymers such as chitosan
- SUPREMA Lux for the separation of neutral or weak anionic synthetic polymers, starches, and polysaccharides
- Aqueous SEC columns with good signal-to-noise ratio out of the box
- Eliminates baseline noise when used with light scattering detectors
- Reaches steady state mode 20 times faster than conventional columns
- Columns are pre-equilibrated so can be installed and run on the same day
- Same robust operation and linear calibration as traditional NOVEMA Max and SUPREMA columns
- Guard columns protect and extend the lifetime of analytical columns
