Shodex HILICpak VG-50 HPLC Columns
Shodex HILICpak VG-50 HPLC columns are polymer-based hydrophilic chromatography (HILIC) columns modified with amino groups. It is suitable for the separation and analysis of sugars and sugar alcohols. High recovery rates of reducing sugars are observed as the HILICpak VG-50 columns do not form Schiff bases due to the usage of tertiary amine groups. The polymer-based packing material provides excellent chemical stability and offers the advantage of being used under alkaline conditions (working pH range is 2 to 13).
- Polymer-based HILIC columns with tertiary amino (-NR2) groups
- Suitable for saccharide analysis using HILIC mode
- Recovers reducing saccharides with high ratio (improved results for galactose, mannose, arabinose, and xylose)
- Ideal for melamine analysis
- Suitable for ELSD, CAD, LC-MS/MS detection
- Choice of stainless steel and PEEK column housings
- Polymer-based packing material provides excellent chemical stability and minimum deterioration over an extended time period
- pH stability of 2 to 13
- Easily regenerated by washing in an alkaline solution
