Shodex HILICpak VN-50 HPLC Columns
Shodex HILICpak VN-50 HPLC column is a polymer-based hydrophilic chromatography (HILIC) column modified with diol groups. It is suitable for the separation and analysis of hydrophilic compounds such as oligosaccharides and oligonucleic acids. The polymer-based packing material provides excellent chemical stability and also allows the use of alkaline washing solutions to helps prevent non-specific adsorption and carry over related problems.
- Polymer-based HILIC columns with diol (-OH) groups
- Excellent for analysis of oligosaccharides and oligonucleotides
- Suitable for oligomer separation which is not possible by SEC column or conventional HILIC columns
- Polymer-based packing material provides excellent chemical stability and minimum deterioration over an extended time period
- pH stability of 2 to 13
- Easily regenerated by washing in an alkaline solution
- Suitable for evaporative light scattering detector (ELSD), corona charged aerosol detector (CAD), and mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS)
- New size HILICpak VN-50 1D has an outer surface made of stainless steel and an inner surface (wetted part) made of PEEK
- Column with inner diameter of 1.0 mm can be used with flow rate to 0.1 mL/min or less making it suitable for high sensitivity analysis by LC/MS
