SiELC Primesep PB HPLC Columns
SiELC Primesep PB is a mixed-mode HPLC column that embeds both aromatic and basic ion-pairing groups on short ligand chains. It provides improved retention of acidic compounds through an anion-exchange mechanism, distinguishes aromatic compounds based on the variations in pi-pi interactions, and retains neutral compounds using a reversed phase mechanism. Depending on analyte properties, one, two, or all three interactions can be applied to the separation. Primesep PB is suitable for the separation of structural isomers of aromatic compounds and the degree of pi-pi interaction can be adjusted by varying the amount of acetonitrile in the mobile phase.
- Primesep PB is a mixed-mode HPLC column that embeds both aromatic and basic ion-pairing groups on a short carbon chain
- Three interactions on one column - reversed phase, pi-pi, and anion exchange
- Enhanced retention of acidic compounds through an anion-exchange mechanism
- Differentiates aromatic compounds based on the variations in pi-pi interaction
- Retains neutral compounds using a reversed phase mechanism
- Suitable for the separation of structural isomers of aromatic compounds
- Offers mobile phase compatibility with LC-MS
- Scalable from capillary to prep
- Guard columns connect directly to columns and do not require any additional holders
