Agilent ZORBAX Eclipse XDB-Phenyl HPLC Columns
Agilent ZORBAX Eclipse XDB-Phenyl HPLC columns contain an ethyl phenyl functional group with two methyl side chains for excellent selectivity of aromatic compounds. The eXtra Densely Bonded (XDB) phase combined with double endcapping simultaneously protects the silica support and removes unwanted secondary interactions. The columns are manufactured with fully porous silica in either 3.5 µm for higher resolution HPLC applications, or 5 µm for proven and reliable HPLC methods.
- Ethyl phenyl column with two methyl side chains on endcapped silica
- Alternative selectivity for aromatic compounds
- Enhanced pi-pi interactions when using methanol
- Long lifetime with eXtra Dense Bonding and double endcapping
- Traditional fully porous silica-based columns in 3.5 µm and 5 µm
- Guards extend the lifetime of analytical columns without diminishing performance
- USP L11 classification
- Provides different selectivity to Eclipse Plus Phenyl-Hexyl (hexyl phenyl with methyl side chains on endcapped silica) and SB-Phenyl (ethyl phenyl with diisopropyl protecting groups on non-endcapped silica)
- ZORBAX Eclipse XDB reversed phase chemistries also include Eclipse XDB C18, Eclipse XDB-C8, and Eclipse XDB-CN for alternative selectivity
