Avantor® ACE® UltraCore C18-Amide HPLC Columns
Avantor® ACE® UltraCore C18-Amide HPLC columns feature a 3.5 µm solid-core particle with a polar embedded amide functional group. This provides additional mechanisms of interaction such as H-bonding to give an alternative selectivity for moderately polar analytes. More polar compounds can be retained by using a 100% aqueous mobile phase. The solid-core particle provides higher efficiency separations with lower backpressure compared to fully porous 3 µm columns.
