Agilent ZORBAX Eclipse XDB-CN HPLC Columns
Agilent ZORBAX Eclipse XDB-CN HPLC columns feature an eXtra Densely Bonded (XDB) cyano phase combined with double endcapping which virtually eliminates undesirable interactions between polar solutes and the silica surface. This results in superior peak shape, high efficiency, and long-term chromatographic reproducibility. The Eclipse XDB-CN columns can be used in either reversed phase or normal phase mode and provide excellent peak shape of polar and mid-polar compounds. The columns are manufactured with fully porous silica in either 3.5 µm for higher resolution HPLC applications, or 5 µm for proven and reliable HPLC methods.
- Low bleed cyano phase
- Suitable for retaining polar analytes using reversed phase
- Shipped with reversed phase solvents but can also be used in normal phase applications after flushing with isopropanol
- Long lifetime with eXtra Dense Bonding and double endcapping
- Traditional fully porous silica-based columns in 3.5 µm and 5 µm
- Guards extend the lifetime of analytical columns without diminishing performance
- USP L10 classification
- ZORBAX Eclipse XDB reversed phase chemistries also include Eclipse XDB C18, Eclipse XDB-C8, and Eclipse XDB-Phenyl for alternative selectivity
- ZORBAX Eclipse XDB-CN chemistry is aligned with Poroshell EC-CN for easy transfer from fully porous to superficially porous particle columns
