Tecan Resolvex Atlas SCX SPE
Tecan Resolvex Atlas SCX SPE is a strong cation exchange chemistry using a balanced hydrophilic-lipophilic base resin. Resolvex Atlas is a hydrophilic-lipophilic balanced polymeric sorbent with a N-vinylpyrrolidone-divinylbenzene copolymer. Resolvex Atlas SCX incorporates this copolymer technology along with a strong cationic exchange chemistry to provide a focused clean-up when working with basic compounds in tough matrices. In addition to the balanced copolymer technology, Resolvex Atlas SCX provides an additional chemistry that allows for strong retention of basic compounds.
Resolvex Atlas SCX SPE is available in industry standard Cerex SPE columns (1 mL, 3 mL, 6 mL cartridges, and 96-well plates) or next generation NBE (Narrow Bore Extraction) columns (1 mL cartridges, and 96-well plates). NBE products allow workflows to be simplified and shortened, reducing waste, and decreasing costs. Tecan smart extraction consumables have been optimized to work with Resolvex positive pressure manifolds.
- Microparticulate sorbents to increase extraction efficiency
- Atlas SCX is a strong cation exchange phase and is a direct equivalent to Waters Oasis MCX
- Unique packing technology ensures the quality and reproducibility of smart consumables
Narrow bore extraction (NBE) technology enables a fundamental redesign of the SPE workflow, with clear improvements:
- Novel air gap prevents sample flow until positive pressure is applied, allowing extended incubation steps in the column
- 5x smaller elution volumes – micro-elution – enables direct injection into the MS instrument, eliminating evaporation steps
- Narrower particle size distribution improves extraction efficiency
- Reduced sample size means faster sample prep and more efficient workflows
- Cleaner samples adding analytical column lifetime
