Thermo Scientific MAbPac SEC-1 Columns

Thermo Scientific MAbPac SEC-1 columns are designed for high resolution separation of monoclonal antibody (mAb) analysis, including the monomers, aggregates and Fab and Fc fragments resulting from proteolysis. These size exclusion columns provide superior performance, even under nondenaturing conditions, and in high and low salt mobile phases and volatile eluents.

Based on high purity, spherical porous 300Å 5µm silica particles that are covalently modified with a hydrophilic layer, this column offers separations with very low levels of secondary interaction. The stationary phase is designed to handle different eluent conditions containing both high and low ionic strength mobile phases, as well as mass spectrometry friendly volatile eluents.

Different column formats meet different analytical needs. The 4.0mm ID column enables baseline separation of mAb monomer and dimer. The 2.1mm ID column uses low flow rate and low sample loading, making it the perfect format for MS detection.
