Thermo Scientific Acclaim Trinity P1 HPLC columns have a unique trimodal surface chemistry which provides concurrent reversed phase, cation-exchange, and anion-exchange functionalities for maximum flexibility in method development. Selectivity can be easily optimised by adjusting mobile phase buffer concentration, pH and solvent content - either jointly or independently - to accelerate chromatographic separations and increase productivity. The Acclaim Trinity P1 is ideal for the simultaneous separation of pharmaceutical drug substances and their counterions on one column.
- Mixed-mode column technology combining reversed-phase, anion exchange, and cation exchange
- Inner-pore is bonded with a bi-modal reversed-phase and anion-exchange functionality, and the outer surface is modified with cation-exchange nano-polymer beads
- Ideal selectivity for simultaneous separation of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) and counterions (basic, neutral, and acidic analytes)
- Effective retention of hydrophilic ionic and ionizable analytes without ion-pairing reagents
